Our history

For KIFFY, « Made in France» is not just a slogan, it’s a commitment

Nowadays, consumers are often mislead by commercial « Made in  France / Europe » messaging. Some bike manufacturers claim Made in Europe status when in reality only the final bike assembly is done in Europe. They choose to cut costs by outsourcing production to developing countries. Even if it’s legal, we at KIFFY believe it’s not honest. At KIFFY, « Made in France» is part of our DNA. Bike production is done locally, in our workshops in Saint-Etienne. From design to final stage assembly, we do it all. Buying a KIFFY is an eco friendly way to ride a high quality hand-crafted cargobike, made in France.
